This is the "Hello world !" source code example.
print "Hello world !\n";
Save it with in hello.pl then run it typing:
debarm:~# perl hello.pl Hello world !
Installation
PERL is installed by default on the default Debian Squeezy Linux provided with the bootable microSD.
